BOXANIA HISTORY

We are a small kennel situated in the Lincolnshire Wolds approximately one and half miles from Louth on the A157. We pride ourselves on producing well bred puppies from well bred dogs.

All our dogs are hearted tested by a Certified Veterinary Cardiologist and will only be bred from if they pass this test.

I fell in love with Boxers at the age of ten, when my father came home with a three year old boxer dog (Fridy). He lived till he was eleven. After his death the house was so quiet, my sister, brother and myself bought my Mother and Father a Pedigree Boxer Puppy Silla, CH Cherryburton Tiger Pete x Glenauds Gossemer and was a much loved family pet.

On leaving home I did my nurse training and then joined the Royal Air Force, being in the forces I was unable to keep a dog and I vowed as soon as I left I would buy myself a Boxer. I kept my vow and on leaving the Air Force in 1996 I found a wonderful puppy bitch and named her Hollie.

Princess Aimleigh (Hollie)

Hollie was not a show dog but she excelled herself in other areas of the dog world. She was good at Obedience and won many rosettes and trophies. She passed her Bronze, Silver and Gold KC Good Citizen Award (she was the first Boxer in the country to pass the Gold). We then decided to have a go at Agility and Flyball and although we made a slow start we started competing at Open Agility Shows and we were regularly getting clear rounds. Then we were asked if we would like to do Search and Rescue Training, Hollie loved this, though this was just for fun she was trained to Home Office standards and was quite capable of finding a 'body'. By now Hollie was five years old and I wanted to have a go at showing so the hunt was on to find a show quality puppy. Along came Spice.

Birleyvale Love Bug at Boxania (Spice)

Birleyvale Love Bug at Boxania (CH Blueprint Beern Skittles at Walkon x Walkon Crocodile Tears at Birleyvale). Spice became my foundation bitch and all my dogs come through her. Spice did fairly well at Open Show level gaining over ten BPIB's but she really excelled at being a mother she was first mated to CH Faerdorn Showbiz and produced a lovely litter of eight pups of which I kept one dog Herbie. Her Second mating was to CH Belvern Premention, again she produced a quality litter of seven pups, I kept a bitch this time Daisy Boxania Touch of Spice and Vicky Bell, the Sire's owner, bought a dog Boxania Summer Lightning at Surfstone (Flash). Both were shown at Open and Championship level and both have produced quality puppies Flash is the Sire to Aust Grand CH The Fonejacker at Surfstone who is campaigned in Australia by Janet Halliday of Boxberry Boxers

Boxania Spice Of Life (Herbie)

Boxania Hot 'n' Spicy. Herbie did quite well in the show ring both at Open and Championship level, One of the highlights of his career was being placed RESERVE BEST IN SHOW at Crowle Agricultural Open Dog Show (Judge Jane Lilly) out of over 700 entries. He qualified for Crufts four times and was placed each time. I was heartbroken to lose him at an early age of only five years.

Boxania Touch Of Spice (Daisy)

Boxania Touch of Spice (Daisy) was from Spice's second mating to CH Belvern Premenition. She herself has produced some quality litters and from her first mating to Stanryk Day Dreamer at Surfstone she produce a wonderful litter of 9 pups four of which have done very well in the show ring. Boxania Saucy Spice ShCM (Tilly) and Boxania Spice of Life (Basil) stayed with me and Boxania Stormy Spice at Surfstone JW (Jade) lives with Vicky Bell. Jade has gained 2 CC's and 2 RCC's and has recently had a litter of pups herself. Boxania Dark Spice at Petarris (Lil) lives with Shelley Harris. In July 2012 Daisy had a litter of twelve puppies to World and Int Champion Eurozone v. Twinklestar two little girls did not survive but the rest all did very well and have gone to loving homes. I kept one gorgeous brindle/white girl Boxania Olympic Spice (Star) and another brindle /white girl Boxania Royal Spice at Palerty (Bella) who is shown by Steven Palmer.
